Eric Carter
BIO
I’m Eric Carter and I am looking forward to starting a career in Web Development. I was trained by the Army as an Intelligence Analyst and spent 4 years serving my country before coming home and trying to find a job that fit. I have been thoroughly enjoying the education at Centriq and love being able to see the inner workings of the future. I’m excited to start a career where I can continue to grow and reach my full potential.
Q&A
Q: Why did you decide to come to Centriq?
A: I have always had an interest in how technology works behind the scenes, but only had experience working labor jobs with minimal room for advancement. I finally decided to switch from working jobs to learning a career. Centriq sounded too good to be true, learning enough to start a career in just a few months in small classes so I don’t get lost. Thus, the only place that made sense was Centriq Training.
Q: What class has been your favorite so far?
A: I genuinely enjoyed the logic used in C#. The amount of information I got the first week of school was overwhelming at times, but the fact that C# is a language of right and wrong, based in logic, that resonated in me.
Q: What do you hope to do after Centriq?
A: Ideally, I would love to find a company where I can learn even more and strengthen my knowledge of Web Development. I’m excited to reciprocate my growth over time with my employers and colleagues.
Q: What other hobbies and interests do you have?
A: I’m a huge animal lover and hope to buy a house with enough land for several pets! I like to relax by watching shows and movies or playing video games. Whenever possible, I enjoy playing cards and board games with friends and family.
