Our 3rd Annual TechSmart KC Alumni Appreciation Event was held on Thursday, June 11th. A large tent was set up in our back parking lot and the event featured food trucks from Taco Republic and The Sweet Tooth Cupcake Cruiser. Six employers helped sponsor the event and set up tables to visit with alumni about their current job openings. Thank you AOS, Grantham University, TriCom Technical Services, Adams Gabbert, Netsmart, and Apex Systems!
The evening was filled with networking, food, drinks, and entertainment from some of our alumni members. Including Zanzibar Drums (Alumni Lance Rupert), an African drumming and world music ensemble and Tricks of Light (Alumni Chris Byram, Cody Sanders, Jeren Sisk and Chris Trollman), a professional?? fire group, which includes fire spinning, breathing, hula hoops and martial arts.
