Schedule & Tuition Funding
Unlike traditional higher education programs, Centriq's technology career programs do not operate on a semester basis. We start our tracks throughout the year instead of making you wait for a new semester, so you're always only 4 months from your new career.
Centriq offers day and evening class options; our daytime tracks last approximately four months, and evening tracks run approximately seven months. There are several self-study weeks built into each track to give the students an opportunity to catch up on any areas that they would like to review.

Tuition & Funding
Our program tuition varies based upon the program you choose. Generally, our tuition approximates the cost of attending college for one year. This reflects the fact that the number of actual classroom (or “contact”) hours of our IT career programs are equivalent to classroom hours of two semesters in a traditional college.
Our students take advantage of multiple methods of funding their training.
Centriq’s programs are eligible for private student loan funding through Sallie Mae’s Smart Option Student Loan for Career Training. These student loans can cover your entire tuition (which includes your program laptop, all books, certification exam costs and all placement assistance) and also enable you to defer your loan payments for one year to give you time to complete the program and find your new job before payments begin. In addition, there is also the option to borrow additional funds, if necessary, to cover living expenses while you attend training.
|Interest Rate||Get the latest rate at SallieMae.com/ratesheet|
|Origination Fees||No origination fee and no prepayment penalty|
|In-school Repayment Options|
|Repayment Term||Repayment term will vary based on cumulative Sallie Mae loan balance. The latest repayment examples are available at SallieMae.com/ratesheet|
|Loan Limit||Pay for all school-certified expenses like tuition, fees, books and even a laptop.|
|Cosigner Guidelines||While not required, consider adding a cosigner: Students are 2X more likely to be approved when a parent, relative, or other creditworthy individual cosigns for your student loan. Borrowers may apply to release their cosigner from the loan after they graduate, make 12 on-time principal and interest payments, and meet certain credit requirements. Releasing the cosigner will not adversely impact the rate on the loan.|
|Enrollment Eligibility||This loan is available to students enrolled full-time, half-time, and less than half-time.|
|Application Process||The student or cosigner can initiate the application process at SallieMae.com/ctsmartloan. Applying is fast and easy. Students can apply up to 300 days prior to the loan period begin date.|
Centriq’s programs are eligible for both Montgomery and the Post 9/11 GI Bill® funding. On average, 30% of Centriq’s students are veterans funding their training with these benefits. Our staff is very knowledgeable and can help you navigate the VA regulations
Many students have accessed various government programs to fund or partially fund their tuition including Workforce Investment Act, Trade Act and Vocation Rehabilitation funds.
Many students have utilized a combination of the above sources as well as other miscellaneous sources such as personal bank loans, loans from relatives, cash and certain alternative loan funding through Centriq.
Our IT Education Consultants work with hundreds of students every year—each with a different financial situation—to help secure funding to finance new careers. If you have any questions or doubts about funding your training, contact them to discuss your options.
