Centriq's IT Career Program is an accelerated path to a career in technology. We start our tracks throughout the year, so you can begin your journey right away. We offer in-person and online programs with interactive, hands-on training. Our curriculum is designed by technology experts but delivered in a way that's easy to understand for anyone. Academic Calendar

The Cybersecurity Specialist Program at Centriq provides multiple learning pathways tailored to your preferences and schedule. Whether you prefer the structure of on-campus learning or thrive in a virtual classroom setting, we have a program option for you. We offer on-campus day and evening classes in Kansas City. Our part-time options give you the ability to fit learning within your schedule. Choose between live virtual day and evening classes or explore our Flex Option, offering the flexibility to learn at your pace from anywhere. With programs ranging from four to seven months, our programs are designed to fast-track your entry into a tech career. Plus, we incorporate several self-study weeks into each track, giving you the opportunity to review and reinforce your knowledge.

Tuition & Funding

Our program tuition varies based upon the program you choose. Generally, our tuition approximates the cost of attending college for one year. This reflects the fact that the number of actual classroom (or “contact”) hours of our IT career programs are equivalent to classroom hours of two semesters in a traditional college. Our students take advantage of multiple methods of funding their training.

  • Centriq has multiple student loan partners and can help you navigate the funding process. For example, Centriq’s programs are eligible for private student loan funding through Sallie Mae’s Smart Option Student Loan® for Career Training. These student loans can cover your entire tuition (which includes your program laptop, all books, certification exam costs and all job search assistance) and also enable you to defer your loan payments for one year to give you time to complete the program and find your new job before payments begin. In addition, there is also the option to borrow additional funds, if necessary, to cover living expenses while you attend training.
  • Students can access various government programs to fund or partially fund their tuition including Workforce Investment Act, Trade Act, and Vocation Rehabilitation funds.
  • Many students have utilized a combination of the above sources as well as other miscellaneous sources such as personal bank loans, loans from relatives, and cash.

Funding Questions

Our IT Education Consultants work with hundreds of students every year—each with a different financial situation—to help secure funding to finance new careers. If you have any questions or doubts about funding your training, contact them to discuss your options.
