“Prior to enrolling in Centriq, I graduated from Dodge City Community College with an Associates of Applied Science in Computer Technology. After Community College, I worked for House of Schwan as a delivery driver for eight years in Wichita, KS. While working, I took courses at Wichita State University and then online courses through Fort Hays State University to further my goal of attaining a Bachelor’s degree.”

Q: Why did you decide to come to Centriq?
A: I heard about Centriq from my uncle, Eric Reid, who is an instructor at Centriq. He told me about the success Centriq has in producing job-ready candidates. After leaving Wichita, I knew I wanted to focus on finishing my Bachelor’s Degree or enroll in Centriq. After doing research of my own, I felt that Centriq was the best fit for my family and me. Attending Centriq allows me to start a new career in a timely manner and still pursue my degree after I complete at Centriq.

Q: What class has been your favorite so far?
A: I’ve enjoyed all my classes; however, my favorite class right now is Windows Server 2. It is interesting to see how and why companies layout their networks the way they do.

Q: What do you hope to do after Centriq?
A: After Centriq, I look forward to putting the knowledge I have gained here to tackle challenges in my new career. I also hope to continue my education and finish my Bachelor’s degree.

Q: What other interests do you have?
A: I have a wife and twin 3-year-old daughters. I enjoy traveling, eating, and exploring new places with them. My newest interest is kayaking. I also enjoy games of all types.
