Bio
The military has been my life since I graduated high school. I spent 15 years in the United States Army as a Military Working Dog Handler and Trainer. I raise two wonderful children with my beautiful wife Kortni. I have had the opportunity to travel all over the United States and abroad, during my service. We decided in October 2017 that the Kansas City area would be our home once I medically separated from the military.
Q&A
Q: Why did you decide to come to Centriq?
A: I had heard a lot of the Centriq Training commercials on the radio. What made me enroll was the fact that so many service members had success in the school. I also like the fact that you can have absolutely no IT experience and they will give you the tools and knowledge needed to get a job. I want to jump into the IT field primarily because it is never going away. There is a plethora of jobs and a wide variety of positions.
Q: What class has been your favorite so far?
A: I honestly like the entirety of everything I have learned so far. I enjoy Cisco as well as Powershell. I like understanding what computer systems do behind the scenes to keep the world turning.
Q: What do you hope to do after Centriq?
A: I want to either become a Jr. System Administrator or Network Technician. I still haven’t really been able to narrow down what I want to do long term. I am really open to all IT job opportunities in the future.
Q: What other hobbies and interests do you have?
A: I love everything to do with sports cars. I have always tinkered with motors since I was a young child. I have recently been going to a lot of the local car shows with my car.
