Originally from the Marshall Islands, Paul’s path to Centriq is rooted in service and a global perspective. After joining the Army right out of high school and serving on active duty, Paul ventured abroad to earn his bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy in Taiwan. Now, as a Veterans Employment Representative with the State of Iowa, he’s focused on helping fellow veterans build successful careers.
Paul’s decision to enroll at Centriq was driven by a recommendation from his VR&E representative and a strong drive to move into cybersecurity—a field he’s eager to break into. Of all the concepts he’s tackled so far, networking stands out. He admits technology connections are easy to take for granted, but learning how everything links together has been eye-opening.
Looking forward, Paul’s goal is clear: become a cybersecurity analyst and make a real impact in the field. He’s ready to put in the work and start wherever needed, confident that Centriq’s Cybersecurity Specialist Program is his launchpad. Congratulations Paul!
