Featured Student: Meet Evan Lanning

Centriq recognizes 1-2 outstanding students as our Featured Student of the Month. Evan Lanning was awarded our Featured Student of February 2025.

Meet Evan Lanning, our featured cybersecurity student! Born in Lawrence and raised in Olathe, Evan is a proud father with a deep passion for technology. A former competitive baseball player, he traveled across nearly every state for games. Now, he enjoys cheering on the Chiefs and Kansas Jayhawks while pursuing his dream career in IT. At Centriq, Evan’s favorite course is Microsoft Administration, where he’s fascinated by scripting and automation for IT tasks. After graduation, he hopes to land a role as a system administrator and eventually transition into cybersecurity.
