Charles spent two decades working in production before deciding to pursue a new career in IT. As a father to two teenage boys, he balances family life with interests in gaming, football, and golf. Facing limited advancement opportunities in his previous role, Charles recognized the need to expand his skill set to achieve professional growth.
Possessing a natural aptitude for technology, Charles chose Centriq for its practical, hands-on approach to IT education. The focused curriculum allowed him to concentrate on relevant skills without unrelated coursework, and the career readiness support was especially important for someone re-entering the job market after many years.
During his time at Centriq, Charles was particularly engaged by topics such as Active Directory, appreciating the complexities involved in managing networks and users. He completed the Cybersecurity Specialist Program, building expertise targeted to today’s technology needs.
With his training nearly complete, Charles is looking forward to starting his IT career with a managed service provider. He is eager to work with a range of businesses, troubleshoot technical problems, and continue growing in the evolving field of IT. Congratulations Charles!
