Featured Student: Meet Aaron Yancey

Centriq recognizes 2-3 outstanding students as our Featured Student of the Month. Aaron Yancey was awarded our Featured Student of October 2024.

Meet Aaron Yancey, our featured cybersecurity student!

Born on an army base in Germany and raised in St. Louis, Aaron now resides in Kansas City, where he’s something like a jack-of-all trades, driving for Lyft and Uber, fixing printers, writing books, and selling items online. Aaron enjoys Christian audiobooks, attending Harmony Vineyard Church, and playing strategy games like Chess and Risk.

Since starting at Centriq, Aaron has been captivated by the hands-on experience of building virtual machines and programming a robot to perform specific tasks. When he completes the IT Career Program, he hopes to work as an IT Consultant, securing contracts both locally and globally. We’re excited to see Aaron turn his passion for technology into a successful career!
