Zach Lillard
Bio
I’m married with 2 great kids. I grew up playing sports and went to Lindenwood University on a baseball scholarship. I graduated with a degree in Athletic Training and then took a position as a restaurant manager. After being a restaurant manager for the last 9 years, I finally feel like I have found the right career in Web Development. It was a tough decision to make but I feel coding will offer me the satisfaction and opportunity that I have been looking for.
Q&A
Q: Why did you decide to come to Centriq?
A: After doing some research on learning Web Development, I found Centriq. The short time frame and hands-on learning is what drew me to Centriq. I don’t have the time or money to do a typical degree, and I really wanted to be engulfed in the process of learning by doing.
Q: What class has been your favorite so far?
A: I’ve really enjoyed all of the classes so far. I guess my favorite would be C#. It’s been really cool to work on our Dungeon Game application and see how you can make it interactive for a user.
Q: What do you hope to do after Centriq?
A: After Centriq I’m excited to see the career opportunities and continue learning as I grow in development.
Q: What other hobbies and interests do you have?
A: In my spare time I enjoy movies and playing with my kids. I enjoy music and play in a band with some friends.
