I was born and raised in Germany by my mother. At 16, I decided that I wanted to move to the United States for better opportunities. I joined the Air Force as a Security Forces member right out of High School. After my 4-year enlistment I was honorably discharged and started doing jobs as an Admin Assistant. I moved from Missouri to Wyoming to Massachusetts to Cali back to Missouri. I now live in Independence with my Husband and my cat Phelix.

Q: Why did you decide to come to Centriq?
A: I had various jobs but always felt drawn to the IT department. I have always had a passion and interest in an IT career. When I heard about Centriq on the Radio, I discussed it with my Husband and we both agreed that Centriq would be a good fit. So far, I have enjoyed everything I’ve learned.

Q: What class has been your favorite so far?
A: HDF1&2 was exciting and fun! Getting hands on into machines was great. Even though I had already had experience in that since I build my own desktop. As was Networking. I really enjoy the Math that subnetting provides.

Q: What do you hope to do after Centriq?
A: I would really like to work in the IT department in the health care field. Since Health care and IT are so versatile and I enjoy making a difference, no matter how big or small.

Q: What other hobbies and interests do you have?
A: My interests are video gaming (mostly World of Warcraft, Overwatch, Epistory-The Typing Chronicles). I love to paint; I have several paintings all around my home. I love going to the movies with my husband and friends.  I am a crazy cat lady; and yes, I love everything cats!
