Bio
I grew up in a small town in Iowa where my family owns a small amount of land. I had a very supportive family to help me while I pursued my interests. I worked in several different customer service jobs from a diner, to a grocery store, to a steakhouse. These different jobs have helped me develop soft skills especially in the customer service department. I am very excited about the career opportunities ahead of me!
Q&A
Q: Why did you decide to come to Centriq?
A: I have always had a love and curiosity for technology, how it works, and the pace at which it changes. I have had a few other jobs in the past but am now focusing on a career. There isn’t really anything like Centriq in Iowa. I had heard many good things about Centriq through friends and was willing to move to Missouri to start my career. The ability to learn through hands-on experience was more appealing than a conventional college.
Q: What class has been your favorite so far?
A: My favorite class that I have taken through Centriq is Windows Server Administration. It was a class that I was able to grasp with a good understanding while still being challenged. I also really enjoyed learning about the full potential of Group Policy and File servers.
Q: What do you hope to do after Centriq?
A: I hope to find an entry-level IT job to get some experience. I really enjoy working with the hardware side of networks. My plan is to move back to Iowa with some experience and continue my IT career there.
Q: What other hobbies and interests do you have?
A: In my free time I have many different activities that I like to do. I like to play tennis with some of my high school friends when I see them. I also enjoy playing different video games with my friends online.
