tell us about yourself.
Hi! I’m Alex Adamek and I grew up in Platte City, MO. Shortly after graduating high school I enlisted in the United States Air Force and moved around the country for the next few years. Now that I am separating from the military, my family and I have decided to move back to our home of KC and closer to our extended family.
why did you decide to come to centriq?
I decided to come to Centriq to broaden my knowledge of IT and earn a few more certifications. What I didn’t expect, was how great the networking opportunity would be. I remember hearing advertisements for Centriq on the radio and when the opportunity presented itself, I just had to take it.
what class or subject matter has been your favorite and what do you like about it?
My favorite subject matter so far has been the Windows Server Administration. I found the concept of creating a domain from the ground up and then personalizing some of the settings to be so fun! My favorite part was definitely setting up my own group policy settings.
what do you hope to do after centriq?
After Centriq, I am hoping to start my career in the civilian sector around the KC area as well as continuing to learn new IT concepts and strive to earn more certifications.
tell us about your interests.
In my free time I love to play video games, but I also like to hike, camp, and just enjoy the outside air. I am a big music lover and I played the tuba in high school, college, and a little on the side while in the military.
