BIO
I grew up on a farm in a small town called Montrose, MO where I helped with farm chores. In 2016 I enrolled in the IT Systems and Security Administration track through Centriq where I graduated and obtained my CompTIA A+, Security+, and MTA; Networking Fundamentals. With this training, I moved to TX where I performed many different IT roles including Helpdesk, IOC, & NOC. I then moved back to KC June 2019 and decided to pursue Centriq’s Full Stack Web Development Program.
Q&A
Q: Why did you decide to come to Centriq?
A: I originally came to Centriq to pursue their IT Systems and Security Administration program because I loved technology ever since I was a kid. Anything that powered on, I took it apart and put it back together just to see how it was constructed. I was also the IT person of the family anywhere from hooking up several cords for a WII to work on a Boxed TV (CRT Television), fixing phones, or fixing computers. I decided to come back to Centriq for their Full Stack Web-Development program as my interest in technology continues to grow.
Q: What class has been your favorite so far?
A: Although, I have enjoyed all the subjects so far MVC is my favorite just because it gives me more of a challenging task at hand. I enjoy challenges because it helps me grow as an individual.
Q: What do you hope to do after Centriq?
A: After Centriq, I look forward to demonstrating my skills and prior experience for any company I work for. In the meantime, I plan on completing my CE’s for my CompTIA A+, and Security+ Along with pursuing AWS and Linux certs.
Q: What other hobbies and interests do you have?
A: I have several hobbies and interests which include video gaming, watching football, studying, and spending time with family. However, one of my favorite things to do is fish. If I could I would fish every single weekend.
