BIO
I am a small-town country girl who is married with three amazing children. I was raised on a farm and grew up loving animals, especially horses. I am one of five kids; I have two older brothers and two younger sisters. I joined the Marine Corps when I was 19 and was honorably discharged at 23. My children are 11, 10, and 3. I love being a mom and teaching my kids everything I know.
Q&A
Q: Why did you decide to come to Centriq?
A: I’ve always been interested in technology but over the last couple of years I’ve wanted to learn more about what goes on in the background and how exactly it all works. I heard about Centriq and after learning more about the program I decided that this would be a great place to start my new career. I am very thankful to be here with awesome teammates, instructors, and staff. This school/program has been one of the best decisions I’ve made.
Q: What class has been your favorite so far?
A: I really can’t say that I have just one favorite. I find everything that I’m learning is awesome. I enjoy the big picture and see how all the pieces fit together in making it all work. I love how there is more than one way to accomplish the goal at hand. Even more, so that it is ever-growing, and the sky is the limit.
Q: What do you hope to do after Centriq?
A: I look forward to finding a rewarding career that allows me to be successful both at work and at home. I’m excited about continuing to learn more and more as time goes on.
Q: What other hobbies and interests do you have?
A: I love to bow hunt and go fishing with my family. Custom woodworking is definitely a hobby of mine. I really enjoy being outdoors or working on cars with my husband.
