KANSAS CITY, MO. (January 11, 2019) — Centriq Training, the Midwest’s largest technology training company, announced the opening of its new education facility in Kansas City, Missouri this week. The new campus at 92nd and State Line Road is located just five blocks from Centriq’s previous location in Leawood, Kansas.
The unique building boasts over 45,000 square feet, offering an increase in high-tech classrooms and student amenities, such as increased parking and multiple student lounges. The office space features distinctive architecture and modern design elements to complement the digital environment.
The new campus, which has doubled the amount of usable space for students, is designed to support Centriq’s recent growth while allowing for plans of future development. “The demand for technical skills training in Kansas City has skyrocketed. Both businesses and consumers are eager to gain the job and tech skills needed in this new digital economy,” said Kevin Grawe, President of Centriq Training. “The larger facility truly heightens the way we’re able to train the community and enables us to accommodate the growth that we are experiencing. We’re proud of this new space and excited to see where it takes us.”
The three-story building offers 21 dedicated classrooms, two large seminar rooms with massive, 90-inch interactive TV screens and digital remote labs for corporate students. It also features dedicated event spaces equipped with quartz countertops and usable wet bars, an updated seven-station Pearson VUE certification testing center and other amenities to encourage interaction between Centriq and the Kansas City tech-community. Additionally, Centriq plans to dedicate a portion of the facility’s third floor to CentriqWorks— a tech-related co-working space— later in 2019.
