Pathways to IT and Cybersecurity Careers
As students, parents, and counselors continue to navigate an ever-changing landscape of post-graduation options, Centriq remains committed to providing practical, hands-on pathways to IT and cybersecurity careers, helping families make informed choices about the future.
October has been a month of meaningful connections and outreach
Early in the month, Centriq’s Director of Growth and Strategy, Brian Kilkenny met with Jeff Green, Director of Northland Career Center at Platte County High School, to discuss the evolving needs of both students and the local job market. Building these relationships is a vital part of helping high school communities discover all the avenues available to students, especially those seeking a fast, career-focused alternative to traditional college.
Looking ahead, Brian is excited to participate in events at multiple schools across the region, including a visit with the Computer Science class at De Soto High School and an area-wide college planning event at Osawatomie High School for students from surrounding districts. These engagements are values opportunities to introduce students and recent grads to Centriq’s unique, accelerated career training in cybersecurity.
If you’re a counselor, parent, or recent graduate looking for educational alternatives that deliver real-world skills and open doors to in-demand technology careers, consider what Centriq has to offer. Our four-month Cybersecurity Specialist Program is designed for students ready to launch their IT journey and achieve career success, often in less than and at a fraction of the cost of a traditional degree
