Meet This Month's Alumni Spotlight: Brittany Markley
As a Technical Support Analyst, Brittany provides enterprise-level IT support for more than 4,200 users across 26 manufacturing facilities, delivering reliable solutions that minimize downtime and keep business operations running efficiently.
She troubleshoots complex hardware, software, Microsoft 365, identity, and infrastructure issues while partnering with Infrastructure, Architecture, Security, and Application teams to improve processes and enhance the user experience. Brittany is also trusted to lead technical training for employees at every level, including leadership, vice presidents, and C-suite executives, making complex topics easy to understand. In addition, she develops knowledge base documentation and collaborates with vendors on strategic IT initiatives.
Her key responsibilities are:
- Managing approximately 100 virtual machines across 20 Hyper-V hosts and supporting Azure services
- Administering multi-domain Active Directory forests, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft 365
- Leading modernization projects, including migrations to Microsoft Teams and SharePoint Online
- Supporting acquisitions and domain migrations to ensure seamless user integration
- Participating in server room design and infrastructure planning
- Administering Freshservice and improving IT service management processes
- Applying CompTIA Security+ best practices to support secure IT operations
Known for building strong relationships and providing exceptional customer service, she enjoys solving complex technical challenges, collaborating across teams, and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
