- Tell us about Salvus TG.
Salvus TG started in 2006 with a mission to bring a better technology offering to the small business (SMB) sector. As one of Kansas City’s first Managed Services Providers (or MSP), Salvus TG’s commitment to SMB’s was well received. Salvus TG is now the “go to” technology company for hundreds of prominent Kansas City companies.
2. What technologies do Centriq grads work with at Salvus TG?
Our helpdesk consists of 10 team members who are exposed to various aspects of technology, such as network, virtualization, security and hardware/software. While specialization is valuable in the global IT market, generalization is critical in SMB where you work with many different customers with various network designs. We also look to develop non-technical skills in our employees, such as presentation, customer service, intuition, curiosity and, most importantly, problem solving.

Technology Group.
4. How many Centriq grads have you hired?
We’ve hired 8 Centriq grads since 2008 and plan to continue doing so.
5. What opportunities do Centriq grads have with Salvus TG?
We work in every level of the IT Department, from CIO to desktop and everything in between. We pride ourselves on taking quality entry level employees and turning them into exceptional high level IT professionals.
6. What do you like most about Centriq grads?
We know that a Centriq graduate has a proven commitment to learning technology. When the desire for education is hardened by our endless supply of technical challenges, the end result is often an experienced and skilled IT pro.
7. What do you like best about working with Centriq’s Career Services team to hire our grads?
Our favorite way to hire at Centriq is to send job postings to Tina and Kiera and wait for the qualified resumes to come in. It sure beats posting on job boards and sort through endless unqualified candidates!
