Bryan Clingan
BIO
I’m Bryan Clingan. I was born and raised in Kansas City. Growing up I was very active in Boy Scouts and achieved the rank of Eagle in 2016. I was employed at QuikTrip for four years after high school, with two years in Kansas City. After which, I was promoted to assistant manager and I was sent to Austin, TX to open a brand-new market for QuikTrip in the area. Once COVID-19 hit I began to think about other career options that would allow me to challenge myself and that I had a personal interest in.

Q: Why did you decide to come to Centriq?
A: I came to Centriq to learn new skills in order to find a better career. I wanted a skill set that would allow me to support myself even if I am not employed in the field. I have always been interested in technology and development so when thinking about a new career in that field Centriq was the obvious choice for me.
Q: What class has been your favorite so far?
A: I was a big fan of the MVC courses. I found it quite interesting and fun to learn how to put together websites that have the same functionality I have seen in other major websites out there.
Q: What do you hope to do after Centriq?
A: I hope to start a new career in the web development industry and get re-settled in Kansas City. I would like to work somewhere that will allow me to further grow and develop my skills.
Q: What other hobbies and interests do you have?
A: I enjoy driving, camping, music, and working on cars. I enjoy going to my boy scout troops meetings and participating in scouting activities. I am also working on rebuilding a 1990 Honda Civic.
