I tell you what! I told myself that I wanted to do better in life. I told myself I was meant to do more. One chilly night in a church parking lot, my good friend Roy told me all about how he loved his time with Centriq and that I was built for it, based off of my experience with PC's. I'm glad I listened and took the jump. This program taught me not only about Information Technology, but it also taught me the value of pushing myself to succeed. How time has flown! It seems like only yesterday that I embarked on my journey with Centriq's IT Career Program. Yet, in hindsight, it's been a whirlwind of countless late nights, burning the midnight oil to complete assignments, all while working 10-hour days. It's a bittersweet feeling, but I'm relieved that this phase is finally behind me. I'm deeply grateful for the incredible instructors at Centriq, whose insights, guidance, and kindness made this journey worthwhile. I just wrapped up an amazing project week, and I wanted to share a few thoughts about the experience! First of all, I have to say that it was really cool to work on a project that could help on my future. But what really made the experience stand out for me was the opportunity to work on something completely new and challenging. These past two weeks at Centriq the proverbial flood gates were opened and the knowledge that is Networking washed over us. It was definitely challenging to understand all the terms, acronyms, and how it all comes together to work properly in a short amount of time, and this is just the basic groundwork for a network! Shoutout to Adam Jurotich for steering the ship to calmer waters where everything made sense and prepared us for our badge exam Friday. Six months ago, if you would have told me that today I would be presenting a website that I built on my own for a final project in the Centriq Training's Web Developer program, while 9 months pregnant, I would have said you were crazy... But, sometimes the universe has its own crazy plans for us and we just have to go along with it. I am so proud of all I have accomplished in the past 4 months, and am so very grateful for all the support I received along this journey.

New IT Career

In 2023, 258 students enrolled in the 12 week Cybersecurity Specialist Program. 227 students (88%) completed the program, 20 students (8%) withdrew, and 11 students (4%) went on leave.

In 2023, 4 students enrolled in the 8 week IT Support Boot Camp. 3 students (75%) completed the program and 1 student (25%) went on leave.

In 2023, 45 students enrolled in the 14 week Full Stack Coding Program. 34 students (76%) completed the program, 6 students (13%) withdrew, and 5 students (11%) went on leave.
