SAM GRASS
BIO
I was born in El Paso, TX and moved to Olathe, KS when I was about 3 years old. Ever since I was a little kid, I have loved technology. From video games to computers, I was always tinkering around with them. I ended up enlisting in the United States Army straight out of high school and pursued another passion of mine, Medicine.
Q&A
Q: Why did you decide to come to Centriq?
A: I decided to come to Centriq because I wanted to try something new. I have always been passionate about technology and my brother told me about Centriq. After we talked about it, I decided to research myself what web development was about, and I knew right away that the Full-Stack Web Development path was the one for me.
Q: What class has been your favorite so far?
A: I would have to say my favorite class has to be MVC so far. After learning a whole bunch of different pieces to the puzzle and being able to connect them together with MVC was really intriguing to me.
Q: What do you hope to do after Centriq?
A: I hope that after Centriq, I can find ways to continue to grow my skills and knowledge as a Developer and help solve problems for the teams I will be able to have the opportunity to work with.
Q: What other hobbies and interests do you have?
A: I used to skateboard, but I ended up dropping that after realizing how much it hurt when you were bad at it. I love playing sports, doesn’t matter what sport. Playing football was one of the best times of my life. I am definitely a HUGE gamer. Right now I’m stuck on the Apex Legends wagon, but I still make time for my RPGs and adventure games.
