NEW Power BI, Windows Server ’16, Agile & PowerShell Training Classes

With ever-changing technology comes the need for training! It can be tough to stay on top of things as the life cycle of products gets shorter, but Centriq strives to provide training classes that will keep you up to speed (or get you there if you’re starting with something new).

Designing Business Intelligence Solutions with SQL Server 2014 (MS-20467)

This five-day instructor-led course teaches students how to implement self-service Business Intelligence (BI) and Big Data analysis solutions using the Microsoft data platform. This course is designed for customers who are interested in learning SQL Server 2012 or SQL Server 2014. It covers the new features in SQL Server 2014, but also the important capabilities across the SQL Server data platform.Learn more and view upcoming dates

Installation, Storage and Compute with Windows Server 2016 (MS-20740)

This five-day course is designed primarily for IT professionals who have some experience with Windows Server, but would like assistance updating their knowledge and skills of storage and compute for Windows Server 2016.Learn more and view upcoming dates

Networking with Windows Server 2016 (MS-20741)

This five-day classroom-based course provides the fundamental networking skills required to deploy and support Windows Server 2016 in most organizations. It covers IP fundamentals, remote access technologies, and more advanced content including software defined networking.Learn more

Identity with Windows Server 2016 (MS-20742)

This five-day course is primarily intended for existing IT professionals who have some AD DS knowledge and experience and who aim to develop knowledge about identity and access technologies in Windows Server 2016. Learn more

[The previous three courses are needed to achieve the Windows Server 2016 MCSA certification. They correspond to exams 70-740, 70-741 and 70-742.]

Upgrading Your Skills to MCSA: Windows Server 2016 (MS-20743)

Corresponds with exam 70-743

This five-day course is for IT professionals who want to upgrade their technical skills from Windows Server 2008 or 2012 to Windows Server 2016. This course presumes a high level of knowledge about previous Windows Server technologies and skills equivalent to the Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Windows Server 2008 or Windows Server 2012 credential.Learn more

Agile Fundamentals (AG-100)

In order to succeed with agile, teams and organizations should focus first on “being agile” as a foundation for success in “doing agile.” This two-day class’s learning objectives delve into key concepts such as adaptive planning, value-driven development, progressive elaboration and frequent feedback for continuous improvement.

Agile Project Management (AG-150)

How does agile and traditional project management differ? What is the project managers role? This two-day course covers strategies and techniques for that transition. Many hands on exercises will allow the student to practice the role of agile project manager as a facilitator of agile practices. Additionally, the class looks harder at adaptive planning, customer collaboration, and value-driven delivery.

This course prepares for and includes a voucher for the ICP-APM (ICAgile Certified Professional in Agile Project Management). Learn more and view upcoming dates

PowerShell for System Center Configuration Manager Administrators (MS-55133)

In this three-day course, students learn how to access the PowerShell cmdlets included with SCCM 2012 R2 and use them to perform configuration tasks for a primary site. Individual cmdlets will be used in working with objects such as Boundaries, Boundary Groups, Collections, Software Deployment, Patching, Compliance Settings, OSD Task Sequences, and many others.
