About Centriq

Centriq Training, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for Learning Solutions (CPLS), is the premier information technology (I.T.) training company in Kansas City. Training IT professionals since 1989, we have more classrooms (18), more certified instructors (20+) and offer more instructor-led courses (over 70+ more) than any other training center in Kansas or Missouri. Each year we train over 3,000 corporate I.T. professionals from over 400 Kansas City area companies. We have trained over 1100 New I.T. Career program students since 2006. We are the only training company to offer both corporate training and career program training in Kansas City prior to 2009.

What Makes Us Different

Our experience in training both corporate professionals and career program students makes Centriq different than any other company and benefits our New I.T. Career track students in several ways.

  • Our staff instructors stay updated on changing technologies in the corporate environment. That way we continually customize our curriculum to provide students with the specific jobs skills that area companies want – in addition to the certifications that you want.
  • We customize the instruction methods strictly for students with little or no I.T. experience. We believe that students new to technology learn differently than experienced I.T. professionals. Our program includes significant proprietary projects and hands-on labs we created just for these students. These additions – not included in any other school’s program – help our students understand new technology concepts and gain necessary job skills.   • We are the only training company with a full-time Career Services job placement position. Plus, we also have a full time Student Services position to help you while in school. (Click here for a description of both.) Our Career Services director oversees an entire program focused exclusively on securing jobs for our students with our corporate customers. Her program includes a comprehensive marketing campaign promoting the benefits of hiring our students as she continually develops relationships with our corporate training customers’ hiring managers. She even coordinates our own job fairs! In addition, she also works with our students during the entire four month program to teach you how to prepare your resume, how to conduct job interviews and how to search for and find job opportunities. Starting with orientation on your first day, our full time Student Services advisor is there to help you with:
