Bio
“I have been interested in technology as long as I can remember. I took apart anything electronic I could get my hands on growing up. In 2000, I joined the Navy as an Electronic Technician, increasing my experience and drive for 6 years. That passion hasn’t dimmed since, and with Centriq I’ve finally been able to find an outlet to let it flourish.”
Q&A
Q: Why did you decide to come to Centriq?
A: I had spent a lot of time in dead end temporary jobs, or moving from college to college as my GI Bill changed. I decided I needed a change, a true career to follow. After doing a lot of research, I took a strong look into Centriq. I came in for my aptitude test, and then spent some time talking to former and current students. I felt the intensive program, and passion of the instructors was a really good fit for me.
Q: What class has been your favorite so far?
A: I’ve enjoyed the weeks leading up to our final project the most. You get to take all the information you learned in the past months, and see how it all fits together. It’s when you start to truly feel that you’re becoming a developer.
Q: What do you hope to do after Centriq?
A:After Centriq, I plan on taking the foundation that has been given to me and continue building on it in the workforce. I’m looking forward to starting my new career and seeing where it leads me.
Q: What other interests do you have?
A: When I’m not working on my school work, I am still an avid gamer. I also enjoy traveling whenever I get the chance, including a recent trip up to Seattle for a week.
