Centriq Training Presents Free Security Lunch and Learn
LEAWOOD, KS. (August 3, 2012) – Centriq is proud to present the free Security Lunch and Learn entitled "SMB - Security is at the Forefront". The session will be led by instructor Tom Pruett on September 13, 2012 from 11:30am-1:00pm.
SMB’s face the same security challenges that large enterprise’s do. The same threats and vulnerabilities are just as lethal to a small business as a large enterprise. Those similarities include confidentiality of data, preventing unauthorized access and ensuring availability of data. However, enterprises have the resources such as security personnel to ensure these objectives are achieved. In today’s SMB's market some may or may not have the personnel or knowledge that these threats and vulnerabilities may even exist or that they may even be affected by them. The key to SMB security is to synergize business objectives and productivity with security.
In this presentation, we will be looking at the steps and processes to create, implement and maintain a security plan for SMB’s. Tom Pruett is a Senior Instructor/Security Consultant at Centriq Training with over 18 years of consulting for SMB’s and enterprise organizations in the Kansas City market place. He is a Cisco Certified Instructor and Certified Ethical Hacking Instructor and is a CISSP.
