Bio
"I am 25 years old, I moved to the KC area when I was 9. I was born in Detroit, Michigan. I have one brother and sister. I currently work two jobs. I work fulltime hours, overnights at a Marriott, and I work part time at Best Buy as a member of the Geek Squad. I have been with my girlfriend for 4 years."
Q&A
Q: Why did you decide to come to Centriq?
A: I work with a guy who was attending career track classes, and I had heard about Centriq on the radio. But my main reason was that I have worked two jobs for the last 5 years and I wanted to get into a career field where I wouldn’t need a second job to make ends meet. I have always liked working on computers and this seemed like the way for me to go.
Q: What class has been your favorite so far?
A: I think the part of class I enjoyed most was the final project. It really helped me see how all the different classes and topics fit together. It helped increase my understanding a 100%. I liked actually putting all the things we learned into practice and having the whole network to play with to just try different settings and see what their effects where.
Q: What do you hope to do after Centriq?
A: Well I hope to get a job just like everyone who attends here. I would like to be Network Admin by the end of the year.
Q: What other interests do you have?
A: I have built multiple PCs for myself, family, and friends. I used to help a friend of mine run a LAN center. I also used to play Counter Strike (a pc game) for money. My hobbies include movies, hockey, and, of course, video games. A somewhat interesting fact about me is that I do not use Facebook, and was even interviewed by a local news station about being in my 20’s and not using Facebook.
