What is an IT Career Track and how long does it take to complete?

How does Centriq Training help with job searching and placement?
An IT Career Track is a series of classes taken in a short amount of time compared to 'traditional' education, and is designed to prepare you to start a career in IT. Students generally graduate daytime Career Tracks in approximatley four to six months. Classes are also at night so there is often no need to quit current employment.
Centriq I.T. Career Tracks contain as many hours of instructor led training as a full semester of college, they are just taken in an accelerated time frame. For example, a community college may offer a course only three hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays. At Centriq our classes generally run from 8:30 AM to 4:30PM Monday through Friday.
Most of our students are interested in obtaining training and getting back into the job market as soon as possible. That's the primary reason to accelerate the training. However, technology changes quickly. In a two or four year program, by the time you graduate, the technology you have learned is probably already outdated. The Centriq I.T. Career Tracks for are completed over a few months so you can be reasonably certain that the technology you are learning will still be in demand at the conclusion of the training program.

will be used by your admission counselor to verify proper program selection;
